Delores Balogun is a seasoned corporate professional with a stellar background in event planning and nonprofit management. Over the past few years, Delores has single-handedly raised nearly a half-million dollars for numerous not-for-profit initiatives and star-studded community events, while balancing her full-time employment.
As the founder of iGlow Mentoring, Delores has a deep footprint in the community with a strong passion for the advancement of girls and women. A few of her fundraising and event planning highlights include the iGlow Mentoring Mother/Daughter Brunch with Gabby Douglas, attended by 1,000 people with $160K raised as well as the iGlow Mentoring Holiday Toy Drive, where $75K in secured donations supported more than 1,000 youth during the holiday season.
Under her organization, Delores also raised $25K for a Back-to-School Conference, which was attended by 500 teen girls. Additionally, she took 150 girls on a Back-to-School Shopping Experience with $30K in raised funds. By means of her fundraising efforts, Delores has also provided summer employment to 15 college interns individuals using $25K in secured donations.
Most recently, Delores organized a TEDx event, where she secured $160K in donations and sponsorships for the event targeting women professionals.
