
James Hitchen
James has been in the event and hospitality industry for 20 years and is now a practitioner in stress prevention, wellbeing and recovery coach. He is a passionate wellbeing & mental Health campaigner and is busy traiing to be a master practitioner in eating disorders and a psychotherapist. On top of all that James keeps one foot in the event industry as the General Manager of the Event Marketing Association.
James has first-hand experience of the pressures we all face in our lives. James suffers with anxiety and depression and after many years of working at a fast pace and using un helpful coping mechanisms, James suffered burn out towards the end of 2016 which forced him to make some well needed changes to improve his mental and physical wellbeing.
James draws from his own personal experiences, the most profound of which includes living in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction and an eating disorder, to help people reduce their stress levels improve their wellbeing and live a happier, healthier more balanced life.
James believes in holistic approach to wellbeing, supporting mental fitness and taking preventative measures to help individuals and organisations make changes before reaching a crisis.
