Since 1997, Alex has been providing dynamic tools for improving communication to audiences around the country. As an Emotional Intelligence Expert and host of The Rapport Advantage Podcast, he uses the powerful concepts from his presentation to recruit, build, and lead successful virtual teams all over the US. Prior to running his company, Alex spent eight years as a transformative educator, teaching 6th grade in the public schools of North Carolina. He earned his B.A. in Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, having received a full scholarship in the North Carolina Teaching Fellows Program. He has been studying human behavior since 2006. He has worked with companies/organizations such as Make-A-Wish, Vistage International, and Swagelok-SC.
