As a Real World College Circuit Speaker, Louis Gittens delivers passionate, motivational and entertaining encouragement for students to walk the path of wisdom within and outside their leadership roles. Raised in a poor neighborhood, he experienced extreme pressure to engage in activities that conflicted with his core values. Choosing to honor self, he paid the price of bullying to the brink of suicide. Determined, he fostered the resiliency to overcome the struggles that faced him ultimately applying his life's lessons to spur his success as a student leader.
His contributions led to the University's bestowment of two of the most prestigious awards for him as "Student Life Student of the Year" and "Greek Life Man of the Year." With excellence, Louis continued his education earning two Master's degrees in Mental Health Counseling and Business Administration which led him to serve as a business leader and decision-maker in a $45 billion financial institution.
Today, Louis serves as a pillar in his community, and he encourages college students across the country to employ wisdom in their decisions as they honor their values despite peer pressure. In his inspirational, thought provoking books, You Can't Lead Others, Until You Lead Yourself and The Dynamic Student Leader, Louis shares success tips that supplement his group presentations intimate as 20 attendees to his keynote speeches addressing audiences over 20,000.
