Dale Murphy was drafted in the first round of the 1974 MLB draft and played major league baseball for 19 years. He spent most of his career with the Atlanta Braves (also with the Philadelphia Phillies and Colorado Rockies) where he became the youngest player in MLB history to win back-to-back MVP Awards. He was 7-time All-Star and 5-time Gold Glove winner, received a myriad of other awards, and is still known as one of the most beloved Athletes to ever play in Atlanta. 

A native of Portland, Oregon, Murphy has traveled the country for the past 25+ years as a guest speaker, making appearances and inspiring audiences with messages of leadership, teamwork, integrity, relationships, resiliency and more. He has been married to his wife, Nancy, for 39 years, and they reside in Alpine, Utah. They are the parents of 8 and grandparents of 12.
