CA, USWith The Unlearning Advantage™, Carolina empowers leaders to break free from legacy thinking and outdated habits to evolve leadership, align teams & transform culture; one unlearned pattern at a time. Tomorrow’s challenges require letting go so new possibilities and future-ready outcomes can emerge.
Carolina Caro is a leadership and culture keynote speaker, CEO of Conscious Leadership Partners, and creator of The Unlearning Advantage™. Drawing on her years of experience as a consultant, she partners with leaders across industries to deliver tailored solutions to evolve leadership, align teams, and transform culture; one unlearned pattern at a time.
With more than 15 years of experience, Carolina has guided thousands of leaders to shed outdated habits, uncover blind spots, and lead with greater clarity, courage, and consciousness. She has partnered with leaders from organizations such as the FBI, NASA, Warner, McDonald's, as well as countless leaders navigating the day-to-day challenges of today’s workplace.
Carolina is one of fewer than fifteen percent of speakers worldwide to earn the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation, the highest global measure of speaking excellence. She is also a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation and a Certified Diversity Executive (CDE), bringing a nuanced perspective on inclusion and culture to her work.
A passionate advocate for diversity, Carolina’s life and career are deeply influenced by her rich heritage. A Montreal native with Hispanic and Indian roots, she is fluent in English, Spanish, and French. Her impressive educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology, a Master of Science in Experimental Medicine, a Master of Business Administration, and a professional acting certificate from the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre in New York, where she graduated from the conservatory program.
Carolina began her career as a scientist in academia and the pharmaceutical industry, where she saw firsthand what drives and what disrupts behavior change. What she discovered was this: people don’t resist change because they lack information. They resist because they’re attached to the habits that define who they are.
Her most radical experiment? Abandoning her own success. As the first in her immigrant family to earn a graduate degree and land a coveted role at a Fortune 100 company, she had fulfilled every expectation while carrying the weight of sacrifice behind every achievement. But something deeper called. Walking away from that “success” to attend acting school in New York felt like professional suicide, but it became her turning point. Letting go of who she was supposed to be opened a path greater than she could have imagined.
It’s the same courageous unlearning she now asks of leaders, teams, and organizations. Through The Unlearning Advantage™, Carolina helps clients move beyond surface-level change to achieve transformation at the level of identity. Her Coherence Index™ reveals where interference disrupts clarity, trust, and alignment across three levels—self (leaders), relational (teams), and collective (organizations), while her POCA® Model for Unlearning (Pause. Observe. Choose. Act.) provides a practical framework to restore coherence before building new competencies.
Her multicultural background and global mobility mean she connects with audiences across borders, culturally as well as logistically. As a triple citizen of Canada, the United States, and the European Union, she brings a global outlook and the rare ability to show up at events without getting stuck in visa limbo (though she’s still working on picking the fastest passport line).
Known for blending evidence-based insights with humor and heart, Carolina helps leaders reconnect with who they are beyond the title and invites them to lead with authenticity. Her own unlearning journey fuels her mission: to help others embrace the essence of transformation; change that begins within and scales across the organization.

The Next Level Leader: Unlearning What Got You Here
For years, organizations have tried to close leadership gaps through an outdated paradigm of addition; more skills, more tools, more solutions. But you can’t build stronger leadership by stacking new skills on top of old identity patterns.
Under pressure, leaders don’t rise to what they’ve learned; they revert to the identity that shaped them: the Achiever, the Fixer, the Expert, the Pleaser, the Controller; mistaking composure for coherence.

Beyond Collaboration: The Cohesion Code for Future-Ready Teams
Even the most capable teams struggle; not from lack of skill, but from relational conditioning: unseen dynamics that quietly erode trust, fracture connection, and disrupt cohesion. Over time, reactive micro-patterns take root: self-protection, approval-seeking, control, avoidance, gossip, blame - creating friction that clouds communication, stalls decisions, and drains energy.
That’s the real tension: collaboration can be designed, but cohesion must be felt. Alignment...
Culture in Action: Connecting People, Purpose & Performance
Organizations rarely lose momentum for lack of strategy or talent. They stall and eventually erode under collective conditioning: the legacy patterns and institutional identities that silently shape decisions, systems, and relationships.
Under pressure, those patterns surface: the company that scaled fast but lost agility; the legacy brand that talks transformation yet protects turf; the mission-driven organization that burns out its people. The result...

Verified @simplyvoting.comWe brought in Carolina to talk about communication and communication styles. Based on feedback from an internal post discussion survey, our staff found Carolina “a believer in her method and that was contagious.” Our staff went onto say they appreciated the focus was on improving communicating “considering the diverse needs of other people,” and found the content generally to be “practical” and it was a “good first step towards something greater.” The biggest feedback we received was generally just wishing they had a longer time to diver deeper with Carolina.
