Bill Zammit is an exceptional communicator who teaches people how to be happy.

An entrepreneur with an infectious manner, Bill has a breadth of professional experience spanning international tourism, corporate development and social work. A tourism pioneer in Australia's Northern Territory, he has built and run an outback safari company, served as a government-appointed business adviser to indigenous communities, hosted reality television programs with international audiences and worked as a media consultant to organisations including the History Channel, ITV, CBC and The Independent.

His determination to diversify his own working life has seen him driving tug boats, searching Darwin harbour for rogue crocodiles and establishing a business to enliven communities by bringing outdoor cinema entertainment to remote towns.

Bill's more recent adventures include him being the sports psychologist for the Timor Leste Olympic Ski Team at the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Recently Bill consulted to the Governments of Australia, Timor Leste, and Indonesia regarding a joint tourism project. In October 2017 Bill was invited by the Consul General of Indonesia to speak at the annual Indonesia Australia Business Summit 2017.

On a volunteer level is the Australian Ambassador for the Timor Leste Horse Breeders and owners Association, and the President of the Australia Timor Leste Olympic Ski Association.

Bill likens achieving happiness to learning a new language. His successful stress-management method is based on what he calls mind-taming – applying the principles of behavioural science to adjust the way we deal with emotion, overcome professional stagnation and achieve a clearer, happier mind. Bill's down-to-earth warmth makes him a dynamic speaker whose presentations leave his audiences uplifted.

Bill's interests include sailing, skiing, chess, travel, aikido, good music, good food, and good friends.
