Cory grew up in Washington Sate as middle of 3 boys. He earned a scholarship to play football at the University of Montana where he earned All America honors and went un drafted to the NFL where he played 6 years with the Detroit Lions, Dallas Cowboys, and Miami Dolphins.
Cory suffered a knee injury on Thursday Night Football that would lead to 5 subsequent surgeries and his exit from the NFL. Having to transition is the hardest part for many but Cory was able to successfully found his business Pro Capital Wealth Management where their expertise is comprehensive financial planning with an emphasis on protecting wealth. His reason for starting this venture was because of a lawsuit he was involved in as a teenager that caused severe financial damage. He sought to make sure that wouldn't repeat itself and now manages assets to make sure someone can't take the legacy that you've built for your family.
