Jared Garrett used lies, acting, and manipulation to win a national gameshow a little while ago, so you might think he's a big liar.
But the truth is that Jared is a family man with an adorable, fun, and wonderfully intelligent wife and seven silly kids. After rambling through Japan, Taiwan, Alaska, the United Kingdom, and Brazil, the family has settled in Utah, where he is a stay-at-home-dad, writer, and speaker, who has delivered workshops worldwide. He has ten published novels and over one million words written for instructional outlets and major educational publishers, including Cengage, Disney, and Amazon Advertising. He's also recorded over 200 hours of voice-acting for books, instructional material, and commercials. He also gardens and loves to hurtle through canyons at full speed while singing along to Journey songs.
His programs focus on the key theme of Winning the Moment. He teaches how intentional noticing, introspection, and decision-making can become a powerful habit for personal and professional growth, for individuals and groups.
Jared was born and raised in an infamous, nomadic cult from which he escaped at age 17. Despite growing up without the safety of home and parents, and experiencing serious abuse, tragedy, and loss as a young boy, Jared made a decision at age 19 to find and add love, happiness, and fulfillment in the beautiful world around him. He embarked on a journey of peace, service, and joy and is thrilled to have a lifelong partner in his wife with whom he's built a vibrant and beautiful family. He learned a lot along the way- and he's got plenty more to learn!
Jared has worked as a firefighter and a BBQ chef, a schoolteacher in Japan, Taiwan, and Alaska, a cowboy theater actor, adjunct professor, and a bellman and concierge. He speaks four languages, and is mastering the art of writing fiction and presentations when he's not cooking, shopping, menu planning, vacuuming, and doing dishes or tutoring, mastering the art of mentalism, coaching, and playing with his kids.

Win the Moment
A keynote presentation on how a simple, but difficult, shift in the way we see ourselves and the world can make a fundamental difference in our path forward, both in our professional and personal lives.
