In 1995, as a teenager Sarah Beth was told she had a brain tumor. She has lived with the results of two brain surgeries, and Epilepsy since that time. She is able to use this as an encouragement to others when it comes to Chronic Illness and adversity.
In 2010, as a wife, mom, and teacher she was hit with tragedy when her husband was in a serious accident which left him with a Traumatic Brain Injury. When the heartache became overwhelming she remained in denial turning to alcohol, and making poor decisions.
Her actions led to an affair on her part. She became pregnant due to the affair, and life was turned completely upside down. With recovery, during this time she learned about the hurts of anger, the strengths of forgiveness and redemption, and power of grace.
With a divorce scheduled, Sarah Beth and her husband worked through their broken hearts. Their marriage was miraculously saved, and they now raise their three precious boys as a family.

Sarah Beth graduated from UALR with her BA in Sociology. She has taught first grade for 11 years. She loves teaching children, specifically inner city students. She and her husband Josh will celebrate their 15th year of marriage this year. She celebrates being a boy mom of three. She participates with Celebrate Recovery helping others to face their hurts, habits, and hangups. Her goal in life is to show others that our mistakes do not have to define us.
