As the Director of Leadership and Strategy for Voltage Leadership Consulting Jennifer Owen-O'Quill has had significant scopes of work in healthcare and scaling tech companies. She spent most of her 25-year career leading organizations, and brings an executive viewpoint to her work. Today, she develops succession plans, equips leadership teams to rapidly scale, facilitates business segment restructuring, and positions companies for mergers and acquisitions.
A graduate of the Healthcare Coaching Institute at Virginia Tech and a certified Conversational Intelligence® coach, Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Dance from Scripps College in Claremont, CA, a Masters of Divinity from Meadville Lombard Theological School at the University of Chicago, and a certification in Professional Sexual Ethics from Wesley Theological Seminary.
Jennifer develops mission-driven, visionary leaders who prioritize effectively, manage resources and time well, and lead high trust, high impact teams. She does this by equipping executives to create a shared vision with their organization that will produce cultures of trust and creativity, and by coaching emerging leaders in Executive Presence, time design, strategic focus, and effective communication. When leaders are grounded deeply in their core vision and values, they lead with greater clarity, integrity, and authenticity when facing the challenges of their business.
She has lived in all four corners of the United States – Portland, Los Angeles, New York City, Virginia – as well as in the heartland, Chicago. Today, Jennifer and her husband, David, live in Virginia where they are raising their son, Daniel.
