AB, CANADAAlex is an experienced trainer and speaker having worked with hundreds of individuals from executives to front-line staff and addressed audiences up to 300 individuals. He is currently a Master Trainer with VitalSmarts and Manager, Organizational Development with Rocky Mountain Equipment, where he oversees the development and deployment of organizational interventions and programs such as leadership development, performance management, on-boarding and orientation, rewards and recognition, succession planning, and discipline specific technical training.
Alex began his career in the energy sector working for ConocoPhillips and Chevron Canada as a Financial Analyst and Human Resources Analyst respectively. His career then took him into the Healthcare industry where he led a Not-for-profit as the Executive Director before moving into the agricultural industry working for Rocky Mountain Equipment as a Human Resources Business Partner where he oversaw and provided strategic and operational HR support to over 160 Managers and 350 employees within Canada.
Alex graduated with a Bachelors in Management (BMgt) and is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR). In addition to his business experience, Alex has served on the board of directors for a non-profit focused on promoting ethical leadership through training and events and he is currently a Team Lead and contributing member of the Editorial Committee for the provincial HR governing body where he writes monthly articles on HR trends. Alex is married and has four children.
