ON, CANADATrudy is an avid sailor having dedicated more than a decade to racing yachts. Over the years she has drawn many parallels between her experiences on sailing teams and the business world. Having coached many executive teams through change management projects, Trudy has helped companies develop leaders and employees through trust, communication, clarity of roles and shared experiences.
In her talk, "Take the Helm" Trudy leads the audience on her journey of taking up the helm of her first race boat and developing a team to compete in the North American Championships. Along the way, she inspires audiences to think about their own lives and behaviour and how they can become the leader they truly desire to be.
