KWAZULU-NATAL, SADaniyel's experience in the Fashion Industry spans twenty years. She started off as a Fashion Designer & Merchandiser, travelling the world to source the latest trends from the fashion capitals – London, Paris, Amsterdam, Cologne and New York. She designed & merchandised for some of the top retail outlets in South Africa.
In 2014, her passion for fashion took her to new heights and she founded her own company, Style Me Image Consulting, which took off the minute she branded her business. Her interests do not just lie in fashion, but in helping people to build their confidence and believe in themselves and their capabilities. "Working on self-image changes the way people see themselves and ultimately how other people see them. It literally changes their lives!" she says.
Daniyel is constantly researching and reading up on Psychology, Business, Style and Fashion to keep her up to date with current trends. Last year she completed her MBA with Action Coach, and gives regular Key note presentations to companies which encourage their staff to live their Brand. Last year Daniyel started GREAT WOMEN IN BUSINESS. This is a networking group to inspire Women Entrepreneurs. It has been a huge success.
Daniyel won the 2017 Umhlanga Women's Achiever Runner up Award. She won The Margaret Hirsch Women in Business Achiever of the Month award in 2016 & is now one of Margaret Hirsch's WOW Women who attends monthly meetings.
Style Me branched out into the wedding décor & styling industry, with Daniyel making inspired decisions on everything from the attire for the wedding party, to the theme for the whole wedding.
Style Me supports the COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM TRUST, a non-profit organization, by providing clothing for the LEARN TO EARN program. This incentivizes the children to obtain good grades and in-turn they get to choose an item of food or clothing to reward their efforts. Daniyel organises projects to help facilitate the needs of our underpriveleged community.
