Tom Froehlich
Very possibly during a mid-life crisis. Tom decided to spread his wings and move from his hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Los Angeles. Well aware of the cliché, he bought a convertible and drove west until he hit the ocean. He is now a speaker, transformational thought coach, and published author.
With an engaging personality and an acerbic wit, Tom has developed a presence performing on the Los Angeles comedy circuit. He honed his speaking skills as an officer of Toastmasters International, where he delivered more than one hundred speeches and has been awarded sixty first-place ribbons. His first professional speaking engagement was at Symantec Corporation that staffs 11,000 employees nationwide. Tom speaks regularly on many of the themes of self-awareness, unrealized potential, and achieving your goals. He is a member of Toastmasters International. Recent speaking engagements and podcast interviews include I Heart Radio, PFLAG, Full Circle Church, and Symantec Corporation.
Tom has been described as, "A breath of fresh air in a world where we can have difficulty catching our breath in the midst of self-doubt." He not only connects with, audiences, but energizes and inspires them to take control of their lives and become visionaries of their own future.
Through personal anecdotes, philosophical insights, and acerbic wit, Tom inspires audiences to explore a shift in perspective and guides them to break the pattern of doubt so they can turn their "someday dreams" into today's reality. More than just an inspirational speaker, Tom leads audiences to take ownership of their own quest to reveal their true selves.
Growing up in the liberal 60's in a conservative midwestern town was a challenge in and of itself. Tom's struggle between trying to be the person he was "supposed to be" and the person he was "meant to be" led him down a path of fear, isolation, and alcohol. Through hard work, introspection, and self-acceptance , he defined his own life path. Tom draws from his own colorful and deeply personal life experiences to help others realize their potential and achieve their dreams.
Tom doesn't claim to have the answers to all of life's questions, but one thing he does know for sure—endings last as long as we choose and beginnings begin as soon as we are willing to start. Tom's ready to start. How about you?"
