BC, CANADAInternational award-winning film and television producer David Brady's work is best known in Canada and the U.S., but he is no stranger to European audiences. He will share his dramatic, and compelling stories of overcoming adversity and climbing to the highest levels of international success in the arts, business, and academia.
He began his early career on the floor of the Toronto Stock Exchange. At 22 years of age, he became a Life Underwriter/Financial Planner before becoming president of his first company ASK Corporation marketing Earl Nightingale's inspirational and motivational products in the early 1970s. At 24 David returned to College and attended two graduate schools completing an MFA at York University in Toronto.
David went on to become President of three successful film and television production companies. He was nominated for two Golden Globe Awards for The Grey Fox, presented by Francis Ford Coppola's Zoetrope Studios and produced for such studios as United Artists, Disney Channel, ABC, CBS, Discovery, France 5, Fox Tel Australia to name just a few. He has written, produced or directed over 130 episodes of primetime drama, comedy and 60 hours of documentaries on a variety of intelligent subjects.
David was an award-winning professor at Ryerson University in Toronto as well as on the faculty of York University in Toronto and was on the Faculty of Motion Picture Arts at Capilano University in North Vancouver British Columbia.
In his new dramatic and compelling three books David shares his journey of overcoming incredible adversity, finding peace of mind and his true purpose in life. Two of the books in his Life Trilogy received the Readers Favorite Awards in New York. First, Surviving: Transforming Childhood Trauma received fourth place; and Serenity: Aging With Dignity, Living with Grace, won the Silver Readers Favorite Awards for second place in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
