AUK, NZIn the age of 'Lean In', and #MeToo, women are becoming more influential, from the community meeting to the board table. But many are still not speaking up, they have lost their voices or never realized they could have one. Learn what is holding them, or you, back and be inspired to mentor them to find their voice. This is a grassroots level idea that is making a difference in women's lives and that of their communities and businesses.
Diana Thomson "lost her voice" after 15 years as a Corporate Real Estate Manager, she slowly found it again whilst living in Singapore as a 'Trailing Spouse'. Retraining and finding her voice in an international environment common to large city's and businesses today. She is well-traveled and used this in her first professional speaking role as a workshop presenter and international relocations consultant. Diana brings humor to a challenging subject of why women are so often not speaking up with the result of missing out on promotions or positions they deserve. Diana's personal story will sound familiar to many who have taken time out to have a family, but also to those that are lacking confidence in speaking up. She inspires women and men to mentor and coach others to take opportunities to speak.
