Steve has over ten years of experience in the private equity industry as an investor, advisor and university professor.

Steve is the founder and chief investment officer of Mink Capital, a firm that advises, consults and educates family offices on how to invest in private equity.

Passionate about education, Steve lectures at the University of Waterloo on Private Equity and founded Mink Learning, an education platform aimed at making the complex world of private equity simple.

Steve is the founding partner of Wealth Management Canada, a free resource for investors to access information and quality wealth managers He also serves on the Board of Directors of the CFA Society Toronto.

Prior to Mink Capital, Mink Learning and Wealth Management Canada, Steve worked at Dunkley Capital where he invested in private equity, including consolidation of billboard companies throughout Canada where he served as President of Stellar Outdoor Advertising.

Steve received a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and received an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. He has also earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Steve has extensive international experience. He has worked, studied and visited over 85 countries in every continent in the world.
