Darlene Corbett

As the "Get Unstuck Expert," Darlene Corbett helps audiences increase performance, wellness and profitability. Her enaging style and energy motivate people to change in ways they never thought possible. Ms. Corbett is able to reach people from  many sectors of the population. Whether they are in direct sales, the health and wellness field, managing a team or wishing to increase profits, people walk away from Ms. Corbett's speech highly motivated and more confident in their ability to make change and get unstuck. In addition, they recognize this impacts their personal as well as professional life. 

Because of her experiences with helping people the past 25 years, Ms. Corbett has not only assisted individuals and groups in getting their house in order, but she has helped them develop skills to strengthen their foundation. In her Keynote, Ms. Corbett is interactive and utilizes visualizations as well as her D.R.E.A.M. technique and stories to support her theme of getting unstuck. 

Collaborating with people to recognize their dormant talents is the reason Ms. Corbett loves the stage. A large platform allows her to reach so many people at one time yet each individual feels as if they were the only person in the room. She finds it extremely rewarding to help people unleash their potential for greater success. Ms. Corbett sees it as an honor and pleasure and continues to be grateful for the inspiration she has derived from her fulfilling career.

Ms. Corbett is a member of the National Speakers Association and is a Board member of the New England Chapter. She continues to be a member of Toastmasters International, the National Association of Social Workers and the New England Society of Clinical Hypnosis. Ms. Corbett remains an Approved Consultant with the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. Finally, to continue fulfilling her strong belief in serving others, Ms. Corbett is now a Board member of Abby's House which provides shelter, affordable housing, advocacy and support services to disenfranchised women with or without children. Abby's House is located in Worcester, MA. 

Her professional training is as follows: Ms. Corbett received her Master's Degree in Social Work in 1982. Early in the next decade, she began her training as a Hypnotherapist. In 1993, Ms. Corbett became a partner with the group mental health practice Needham Psychotherapy Associates. In the last few years, Ms. Corbett has written blogs and articles which can be found on LinkedIn, Huffington Post, Thrive Global, Goodreads and her own website. She is now a regular contributor for Sixty and Me. Ms. Corbett has been quoted in Bustle, MSN.com, Goalcast and Best Life and has been a featured expert for WorkWise/Knoxville News Sentinel and Thriveworks. In addition, her book, "Stop Depriving The World of You: A Guide for Getting Unstuck was published by Sound Wisdom and released to bookstores and online this past November. 

In her free time, Ms. Corbett enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs as well as her close friends whom she refers to as her sisters in another life. In addition, she loves reading, listening to music, fitness and crocheting.
