NC, USDavid Snyder holds a graduate degree in psychology from Harvard University, owns a consulting practice based in Raleigh, N.C., and works with clients nationwide on staff development, employment, and leadership assessment and training initiatives.
He is also the co-creator of EngagementView, a robust analytical survey platform for assessing the root causes of employee engagement problems in order to fix them.
Among other core clients served, David is the Senior Leadership Consultant with ASPE, the leading provider of ICAgile training programs in the nation. He is ICAgile certified as well.
Additionally, David works closely with his sister Elizabeth Snyder, Ph.D, founder of Applied Culture Group, to develop character-based leadership and resiliency programs for the government and military sectors.
He holds certifications in behavioral analysis and competency assessment and is certified to build validated competency assessments at the individual and organizational level. He is recognized as an expert at developing sophisticated recruiting, selection and training models. His first book, How to Mind Read Your Customers, was listed among the best books of the year by Sales and Marketing Management magazine the year of its release and has been translated widely in numerous languages.
His second book How to Hire a Champion was named as one of the best books available on building high performing teams by the Bloomberg organization. He conducted research on psychophysiology and emotion as a co-investigator at Harvard Medical School for his graduate research project. The findings of the research he conducted on brain wave patterns and emotional styles, anxiety and depression for his thesis was published with his research advisor in the Journal of Behavioral Neuroscience. The research showed robust links between brain waves patterns and personality styles and has become part of the medical literature.
