Workplace safety advocate & internationally acclaimed motivational speaker who will inspire your team with her touching personal story and unique life lessons.
Each and every day, people are dying to work – literally.
Now more than ever, health and safety are being widely recognized as an essential and valuable investment, something that top performing companies have appreciated for quite some time.We have a clear understanding how workplace injuries and fatalities affect most importantly our workforce, our families and our communities. And our bottom line.
Let's face it. Safety isn't the most riveting topic! For any organization, keeping health and
safety innovative, fresh and relevant can be challenging. We have the tools and training to keep us safe, but we could all use a little more inspiration and motivation to utilize the tools we have been given. Most importantly, we need to remember who is counting on our safe return from work each and every day: our families and those who love us - because isn't that who we are REALLY working for?
Candace is the leading light on enhancing safety cultures within organizations and is a breath of fresh air on any job site!
At the vulnerable age of 21, she learned first-hand the consequences that result when a safe work culture is not embraced and made a top priority. It was a workplace incident that resulted in the amputation of her lower left leg and nearly took her life. Like all workplace catastrophes, her experience was 100% preventable.
Candace works globally at safety-focused events and with organizations that rank the well-being of their employees above all else; companies that recognize that safety is paramount and commit to making it so – every day.
Candace believes that safety is an attitude, a state of mind, a way of life, and she shares her
conviction that having the courage to care through standing up for others is a transformational concept – If You See Something. Say Something!
