Autobiography

I was born in New York. I lived in Brooklyn until I was eleven. I lived in Puerto Rico for three years until the age of fourteen. At the age of fourteen, my twin sister and I moved back to Brooklyn. I lived in Florida until twenty-three when I moved to California to attend college. I called myself then a woman in transition on my way to finishing college. I met my husband Richard in El Centro Chicano at Stanford University where he was completing a second master. His first master was in Education from Harvard University and a second master Anthropology and Ph.D. from Stanford University in Education. Two years later I married him. When we got married we moved to East Lansing Michigan. I had three children from the marriage. While still pursuing my B.S. in Science and Technology in Society with Medical Ethics from Michigan State University, I managed to raise three lovely children and support my husband's career as a full professor at Michigan State University and all his travels around the world. Presently I work as a Special Education teacher and a professional substitute teacher. I have also managed to support my three children in graduating from high school and University. I myself have received a Master in Education with a Special Education credential from Cambridge College. My hobbies are dancing, music, walking-jogging, cooking and sailing with my husband and I love animals. I have also been fortunate to accompany my husband in his travels to far away places like Maldives, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, China, Thailand, Paris France, Italy, Switzerland, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Panama.

I decided to become an author when these stories that I have just written would not leave my mind. I have enjoyed writing these stories and hope to inspire all people with my stories. I plan to continue writing. I will be writing two more chronicles to this book. Emmy will be about a little girl coming of age. The first book is Emmy Brooklyn to Puerto Rico. Second Book will be Emmy Puerto Rico to Brooklyn and finally Emmy Brooklyn to the world. I hope everyone enjoys the stories that I have written inspired by my own life struggles to pursue an education while raising a family. This the creative projected that was influenced by my thesis theory now publishing "My Child!"
