Talia Dashow
Certificate in LSP
CA, USHow much money are you leaving on the table because you are not accessing all of your people's talents and creative ideas?
Talia Dashow has over 20 years experience as a Play Professional helping creative people get unstuck, non-creative people become creative, teams bond and thrive, and businesses increase innovation.
Talia was trained in community mediation by CFO (now SEEDS of Resolution) in 2001 and participated in a number of panel mediations with them. When they started their Small Claims Court program she started doing quick solo mediations with people going to court, and helped disputants find creative solutions to their disagreements.
Talia served a year on the board of her local ASTD chapter, and participated in a number of corporate trainings with others at ASTD. She wrote a workbook in 2004 to help people look at their own communication styles and how they interact with others. While it was not a runaway best seller, it includes solid research into how we process information, blocks to listening, increasing curiosity, and how we talk to ourselves.
In 2013 Talia was trained in LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® and has been running team trainings since then. The hands-on, brains-on, inclusive work of LSP has produced inspiring results. Talia is especially interested in situations where there are differing priorities, such as mergers and worker/management conflicts.
Talia's speaking gigs and workshops are highly interactive, fun, engaging, and thought-provoking. Groups understand each other better, and audiences can apply what they learn right away.
