Lisa Munger's reporting has appeared in local, regional and national newspapers and magazines, such as the Huffington Post, as well as on international platforms, including Transitions magazine in the Czech Republic and Al-Jazeera English web coverage in Qatar and Egypt. After returning to the U.S., she worked as a political and business reporter, breaking a story that led to three federal indictments and convictions in a $500 million Ponzi scheme. Before working as a reporter, she managed public relations for political campaigns and interest groups in the Midwest and Washington, D.C. Munger holds a B.A. in political science from TCU and a M.A. in News-Editorial Journalism from the University of Nebraska—Lincoln. Lisa served as a Professor of Teaching in Journalism and Public Relations at Iowa State University for 7 years before leaving academia to work in industry.
