Crystal Farmer

Crystal Lynnette Farmer was born in raised in Detroit, MI. While attending Detroit Public Schools Farmer was known for her outspoken and entertaining nature. While some teachers found this disruptive, many of her teachers helped her to use this talent in positive ways. From an early age, Farmer was a performer in school plays and church events. Public speaking opportunities were made available to her in many ways. She was the youngest member of the announcers' board at her church and was often called upon to present special presentations.

At the age of 22, Farmer accepted her calling as a Minister and began to speak for a higher purpose. Speaking at several assemblies over the years, she has brought encouragement and faith to many. In her role as a Customer Service Representative at Blue Cross Blue Shield of MI, she uses her communication and leadership skills to provide excellent customer service to professional providers all over the nation. Farmer has also been called upon several times to deliver special presentations to her department and has gained the admiration of upper management.

Farmer continues to develop her public speaking and leadership skills through her highly valued membership in Toastmasters International. As a leader in Toastmasters, she exercises her ability to inspire clubs to reach their goals. As a public speaker she has had the opportunity to compete within her district. One of her greatest accomplishments is sweeping the 2015 District 28 Fall Conference winning both of the featured competitions.

Crystal Farmer's goal however is greater than impressing leadership or winning trophies. It is to reach the hearts and minds of everyone she gets the opportunity to inspire. In a world so full of despair, she hopes to be a beacon of light. A light that will lead, guide, and provide hope to all she encounters.
