
Sherman Snukal
Sherman Snukal is a gifted public speaking coach and exciting public speaker. As a member of Toastmasters he has won three club and two area competitions and competed in district finals. He has mentored other members and has been an active member of his club's executive council.
Sherman is also an award winning playwright, television writer, and producer whose plays and television programs have entertained audiences throughout Canada, the U.S., and around the world.
Sherman is that rare individual who can write successfully for different platforms and genres. His stage comedy, Talking Dirty, won the prestigious Chalmers Award for Best Canadian Play and was one of the most successful plays in Canadian theatrical history. The play has been published as a separate volume and has been anthologized in two collections celebrating Canadian theatre. His performing arts documentaries have been broadcast internationally, received Geminis, and won international awards including the coveted Czech Crystal Award. Corporate video productions he wrote have won an Eva and a Certificate of Merit.
Sherman is one of Canada's most experienced and capable writers of docu-dramas and has story-edited two tween drama series for the CBC.
As public speaker coach, producer and story editor. Sherman is a capable leader and team player who enjoys mentoring aspiring speakers and writers. He has a warm, patient manner coupled with the insight to uncover just what the speaking or writing problem is and the intelligence to suggest the perfect solution.
