I had the great pleasure of attending Galen's keynote presentations at our two West Coast all area meetings in San Francisco and Seattle. Galen made a tremendous impression on the groups of 500 at each day long session. I recommend Galen's work and passion on the subject of managing our communications in daily life. His work is powerful and he has practical tips we can all use every day in being better at our jobs.

I knew when I read the "Yes, And" Manifesto that this was a training the both the staff and volunteers on the board would benefit from. Galen immediately put participants at ease with his humor and assured them that they would not be singled out or made uncomfortable. He engaged everyone from beginning to end with activities that reinforced the benefits of shifting the focus to being an organization who saw everything as possibility. Before the training, Galen was interested to learn about our organization and understand the goals I had for the training. The follow up coaching that he has offered post training has been very valuable as we want to be sure we are incorporating activities into our workplace so this was not simply a fun two hours. Galen was the keynote speaker for our annual staff development day, and his presentation and engagement with the audience upped the professional feel of the day for our staff.
