Ciudad Real (1948) and Doctor Degree CC.EE. He worked for more than seven years, national industrial companies before starting his career as a university professor. Since 1985, Professor Business Economics (Autonomous University of Madrid), of which he was Vice Chancellor for four years.
Founder and President of International Financial Analysts . He is also president of School of Finance, and Afinet Global EAFI (all Afi Group companies).
Author of several books and numerous articles and collaborations in specialized journals on international economics and finance.
He directed the collection of Economics H.Blume Editions. He was Director of the Economist Magazine ( Economists Madrid College ) from its beginning in 1983, until December 2011. He was Director of theYearbook of Economy and Finance "El País" since its foundation. Member of the Editorial Board of El País, a founding member of the Spanish Association of International Economics and Finance, the Advisory Board of the Journal of Applied Economics and editorial boards of several scientific and professional publications.
The Regional Government of Castile-La Mancha granted by Decree 102/2000, of May 9, the plate Regional Merit Recognition.
On July 15, 2004 obtained (with Daniel Manzano Romero and Ignacio Rodriguez Teubal) the Ninth Circle of Entrepreneurs Economic Research Award for the work entitled "ICT, economic growth and business activity. Special reference to Spain. " The Circle Award was convened this year under the theme "Information Technology and Economic Growth: the role of the company"
On November 11, 2004 is awarded in Ciudad Real with the Communication Award Cadena Ser.
He has been President of the Paper on Convergence with EU Information Society . He was appointed on 22 February 2005 by the Minister of Industry, José Montilla
In July-August 2005 was Fellow of the Royal College Complutense (Harvard University), as member of the Advanced Research on International Economics, developing at the same center their research project and participating in seminars given by members of the Group and Harvard University professors.
In September 2005 he was appointed member of the Advisory Committee for the Society of Information and Communication of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade.
Since January 2006 he is Member of the Advisory Council of Innovation Science Park of Madrid(Universidad Autonoma de Madrid)
