BA, DTM
ON, CANADAHaving spent over 30 years as a Career Counsellor, my focus is on self help and self development in a number of ways, one of which is developing skills in public speaking, which leads to increased self-confidence in all areas of life. With increased self-confidence we move forward more easily, share our ideas more often, and expect to be well received by others. We set ourselves up to be winners!
My seminars include Time Management, Stress Management, Communication, and Job Search Tips & Techniques.
I have been involved in speaking for over 25 years and am a member of Toastmasters where I earned my DTM (Distinguished Toastmaster) award. One of the roles I particularly enjoy at our Toastmasters club is the Educational Tip. This is where we share something that will be of benefit to members that is either on theme of the meeting or an educational program from Toastmasters. I believe that the key to being successful is learning and doing.
