Michael Korman

Mike Korman is a Drone Entrepreneur, successful Fortune 50 executive and retired US Navy Master Chief Petty Officer. A recipient of 13 personal military awards including the Bronze Star Medal for service in his fourth combat-tour deployment to Iraq where he worked directly for Generals David Petraeus and Martin Dempsey.

Korman is a third-generation Aviation Photographer and FAA-rated Pilot and his 100% Veteran-owned Minnesota-based startup is fully compliant for commercial drone operations. Korman served for nearly 25-years as a Navy Seabee and held increasingly progressive roles around the US and overseas in Operation Desert Storm ('91), Bosnia ('01-'02), Kosovo/Macedonia ('03-'04) and Iraq ('05-'06). A founding member & leader of the Target Military Business Council he continues to advocate for improving Veteran employment, shrinking Veteran suicides & homelessness.

While an executive for Target, Korman was promoted three times in four years and over nearly 10 years managed a billion-dollar per year construction program that included dozens of professionals from coast to coast. Projects included ground up New Stores, hundreds of multi-million-dollar remodel projects and included the CityTarget & Target Express programs. Korman was a technology leader for Target launching numerous innovative platforms for Target Team Members, General Contractor & industry partners.
Korman has spoken to audiences large and small including at ICSC Centerbuild, various Association of General Contractor events among others.
