And they have authored two best-selling books: An American Crisis: Veterans Unemployment, and The Patriotic Business Plan: Strategies for Sensational Success.
In 2004, a U.S. Marine knocked on their door and asked for help. That encounter changed their lives and has positively affected hundreds of thousands of lives since. And they received the Visionary Award for stimulating the local economy, the Extra Mile Award from the Chamber of Commerce, and the Leadership Award. The County Supervisors appreciated the program's contribution to San Diego so much that they awarded them $100,000 to assure its continued success.
This program is now active in 33 states and 75 cities across America. Hundreds of organizations and businesses have incorporated this unique project into their community outreach efforts.
