She could then see that in her own life, childhood abuse and poverty enriched her with creativity and the ability think outside the box; homelessness at 15 gifted her the grit and drive to become an entrepreneur at 17; domestic violence and abuse graced her with a capacity for forgiveness, and a deep desire to understand human behavior. Her exploration to find peace with her pain created the path towards her purpose. A life of adversity leads not to victimhood, but rather to strength, integrity, and personal power.
