Stacie has spent most of her professional journey as a life coach, mentor, facilitator, and corrections specialist. She has provided a holistic and spiritual touch to reuniting families within the prison system through her program known as The Family is First Project.
Stacie is the founder and host of her own blog talk radio show called Prison Talk. Prison Talk was created as a safe platform via the airwaves for loved ones to discuss real issues pertaining to incarceration and family. Stacie is also a licensed Pastor, Founder and CEO of Adonai Ministries, a prison ministry that breaks down the barriers of communication and deals with the unhealthy lifestyle choices of those incarcerated and their families.
Stacie Johnson has been recognized for her outstanding volunteer work in the community and prisons through Talbert House, The Long Term Offenders Organization, and The Ohio Department of Corrections. In 2012, she was nominated for the Ohio Woman of Excellence Award in Dayton, Ohio. In 2015 Stacie was commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel by Governor, Steven Beshear, which is the highest title of honor bestowed by the Governor of Kentucky. Stacie has also been awarded the presages Phenomenal Woman Award by the One Accord Women's Ministry of New Beginnings Community Church.
Stacie's professional skills consistently ensure long-term viability. She considers herself to be a "change agent" who addresses unhealthy behaviors and attitudes of individuals as she assists them in transforming their lives through positive influence and healthy collaboration. Stacie Johnson is a certified Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA), and has earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from The University of Phoenix, and a Masters in Human Services with a concentration in Non-profit Management from The University of the Rockies. Stacie is currently obtaining her Doctorate in Organizational Development and Leadership from Grand Canyon University.
Professionally Stacie has held positions such as CEO, Director, Team Lead, Clinical Case Manager, Re-entry Outreach Coordinator and Para Counselor. She continues to work closely with The Ohio Department of Corrections, Citizens Circle, and several Offender Re-entry Programs.
Stacie's profound understanding of behavior patterns and knowledge of corrections has allowed her to act as a consultant, advocating for families and inmates who deserve another chance.
