Passionate about business, about the need to help young entrepreneurs, in particular, and in supporting women in business as well as representing young Czech athletes.

I have been living and working in the Czech Republic since 1990, which means that I am one of the longest-standing expatriates in the country! I incorporated JWA as a marketing and public relations firm in 1992, and since then the company has worked for most of the biggest investors into the Czech Republic, with particular emphasis on the international companies doing business here, such as Tesco Stores, Anglian Water and others.

Today, we offer a general practice that is focused on business-to-business, corporate, financial, hospitality and real estate communications.

I was the Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce from 2004 until 2007, and in late 2007 was one of the founders of the International Business Forum - www.ibforum.cz.

For the past year I have also been one of the partners in Czech Sports & Music agency. Whilst JWA continues to be my full-time focus, CSMA is thriving and I have been enjoying the possibility of working with some great young sports and music performers. We will see where it all leads.

Specialties:My own particular expertise is financial and crisis communications as well as, generally, 'doing business in the Czech Republic' with particular emphasis on the preparation of communications strategies for international businesses either entering the Czech market or, if they are already here, looking to expand. I also have considerable experience in 'trouble-shooting' for international companies who have run up against problems in doing business here.
