Alan Samuel Cohen is career, business and executive coach; sought-after speaker; and corporate trainer. His expertise in the areas of connection as it relates to business, relationships, community, and leadership make him an ideal speaker for conferences, meetings, and workshops.

Prior to becoming a professional coach, nearly a decade ago, Alan worked in public relations and human resources for more than twenty years. In addition to writing his first book, "Those Difficult Talks for PR Pros: How Best to Say What Needs to be Said to Clients, Colleagues and Employees," Alan co-founded "The Positivity Project," an initiative intended to create global optimism in the workplace. Among the numerous and notable positions he has held over the years, Alan served as Director of Publicity, leading the promotion team for the multi-million-copy bestselling Harry Potter book series.

Alan holds a BA in English and Theatre from Connecticut College, and an MBA from Fordham University's Graduate School of Business. He holds the Professional Certified Coaches (PCC) designation from the International Coach Federation (ICF).   Alan is a member of the National Speakers Association. His new book "The Connection Challenge" (TM) will be released in early 2017.
