WMD, UKDr Matt Pritchard, The Science Magician, will bring the Wow! and the How? factor to your event. As a Curator of Wonder he takes audiences on a journey of new discoveries and fresh insights that are grounded in science research. He will act as a catalyst to prompt profound new questions that will have a direct impact on the thoughts and behaviour of his audience.
He has been speaking professionally for the last 11 years. In 2017 he delivered a TEDx talk on the Quantum state of Wonder. Previously Matt conducted atomic physics research at Durham University, where he won the Institute of Physics' Postgraduate lecturer award. He subsequently went on to work within the Education department at Thinktank Science Museum, Birmingham.
He is a Fellow of the Professional Speaking Association (UK) and past finalist of their national Speaking competition. In addition to this experience, he has spent the last 18 years working as a professional magician and is an Associate of the Inner Magic Circle - one of only 300 people in the world to hold this distinction.
