Dr. Jill Goldenziel is a Research Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School's International Security Program of the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs and a Senior Fellow at the Fox Leadership Program at the University of Pennsylvania. Previously, she spent six years on the faculty at Harvard Law School and Harvard College.  Her scholarship focuses on international law, international affairs, law and religion, constitutional law, human rights, refugees, and migration. She is a specialist in the law and politics of the Middle East and Cuba. She is currently writing a book on Refugees, International Law, and U.S. Foreign Policy.

Dr. Goldenziel's publications have appeared in the Chicago Journal of International Law, the American Journal of Comparative Law, and the Journal of Law and Politics, among other scholarly journals. Her work has been featured in the L.A. Times, The National Interest, and the Wall Street Journal and she has been a commentator on NPR, in the International Business Times, The Boston Globe, and elsewhere. She is a member of the U.S. Speaker and Specialist Bureau of the U.S. Department of State.

Dr. Goldenziel holds a Ph.D. and an A.M. in Government from Harvard University, a J.D. from the New York University School of Law, and an A.B. from Princeton University.
