Dr. Joseph E. Kimbrough
Dr. Joseph E. Kimbrough, renowned speaker, educator, engineer, author, activist and entrepreneur delivers high energy messages that engage, empower, equip, elevate and encourage businesses, communities, and educational institutes to improve their bottom line.
After overcoming many obstacles such as living in the Foster Care System, Kimbrough went on to obtain a Master of Science degree in both Manufacturing and Engineering Management from Eastern Michigan University and recently obtained his Doctorate of Education in Leadership and Management from St. Thomas University, Miami, FL. Kimbrough has held various positions from College Professor to Senior Corporate Quality Director. He has earned both his Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Executive Leadership Coaching certification from Lawrence Technological University, Southfield MI.
In 2009, Kimbrough became the founder and director of Sensible Business Consulting Group, LLC; the Sensible Business Career and Training Institute. He has over 20 years of extensive experience in various aspects of product engineering, manufacturing, education, quality and continuous improvement as well as executive coaching, directing organizational change initiatives, leadership and team development, workforce development and strategic planning. His zeal and passion for life fuels his desire to be an inspiration to everyone he encounters.
As a philanthropist his desire is to help others achieve their dreams and bring restoration within the community. He sits on several boards and currently serves as the Chair of Robichaud Academy of Engineering. In addition, he served as the Leadership Institute Dean and Director of Family Life and Empowerment at Triumph Church, which according to Outreach Magazine is the fastest growing church in the United States with over 20,000 members.
Kimbrough has been featured in magazines, on television and nationwide radio including, but not limited to: NBC, WRDT, WMUZ, CTN, TV33 WHPR, City Talk Magazine, Detroit News, Observer and Eccentric Newspapers. He currently has a weekly radio segment, called "GAME ON Wednesday" on WPZR.
