33 year seasoned veteran triumphs and now transforms lives strangled by OCD, Anxiety, and other Addictive Disorders.

My name is Gregg Sansone and I am 51 years old. I am a successful entrepreneur and presently own a thriving shopping center comprised of 45 businesses. I also speak, write, and coach on how to triumph over OCD and anxiety and I do the same for those in addiction recovery. I speak as one who has 33 years of experience with this insidious disorder and having come out on top. What I share is not textbook rhetoric. What I have to offer is not available in traditional therapy. 28 years of first-hand pain and confusion in the trenches with this powerful affliction has afforded me deep insights, subtle nuances, and critical distinctions as to what it takes to recover from OCD. OCD and depression hit me hard and strong at the age of 18. I struggled for 17 years on my own before finally being properly diagnosed as having Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. It was another 10 years before I received the proper treatment and insight necessary to eradicate the stranglehold that OCD had on my life. It was in these 27 years of trench warfare that I discovered the "golden nuggets" of recovery. It is these priceless gems I share with all affected by this insatiable monster, in particular the silent, shameful sufferer living in fear and despair.

For the past 6 years I have been sharing my successes and insights into this heinous disorder in the form of speaking, leading groups, and writing. Approximately 5 years ago CenterPointe Hospital, out of St. Charles, MO, began sponsoring my efforts in helping others regain a foothold on the life that was stolen from them. We have done this in the form of radio shows, speaking conferences to professionals in the mental health field, and over 1,000 hours in leading groups seeking insight and recovery.

I have also written my first book, "Commit Emotional Suicide," where I share my intimate experience with OCD taking over 27 years of my life, and the final seizing of my life back.

My life mission is to spend everyday for the rest of my life staying true to the vow I made at the onset of my recovery. I vowed the following, "As long as there is breath in my body I will fight this, AND I will spend the rest of my life helping those who are in this seemingly helpless and hopeless place of pain and suffering I am in now." My pain truly has become my passion. In my working together with CenterPointe Hospital, St. Louis OCD, Show Me OCD, and NAMI (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill) we are changing and transforming lives by educating, demonstrating, inspiring, and motivating those in deep pain due to OCD and related disorders.

After 27 years of direct pain, confusion, and ultimate victory including 12 years of "Professional" therapy across the nation from the best to the worst, I share and demonstrate it all.
