NY, USVanessa Walker has been in her professional career for over 25 years, working as a licensed pharmacist for about 17 years, and teaching pharmacy for 10 years. Vanessa founded The APhTI Project, a program specializing in Pharmacy Technician education. Vanessa is currently doing business locally, but is open to doing business nationally and eventually internationally. She has presented at several public speaking engagements related to pharmacy and has held both 'Calculations' and Medication Safety workshops.
Vanessa has a book that is soon to be released titled, "What Every Pharmacy Technician Should Know About Math and another one currently available entitled, "The TRUTH About What's In Your Medicine Cabinet".
Vanessa discovered her passion later on in her life and is confident enough to share that with others. Aside from her pharmacy work, Vanessa divides her time doing volunteer work in a local church ministry. She also starting a network called the Southern Queens Business Mavens, an organization for entrepreneurs to present business ideas. She is interested in networking with like-minded professionals, forming strategic alliances, generating leads, business consulting and most importantly forming a gateway for people. Vanessa credits her success to her passion for everything she does, putting God first, believing in herself, and being people oriented.
