John Floyd
John Floyd first did stand-up comedy in a school talent show when he was only 8 years old and he has been making people laugh ever since. Along the way he has worked with almost every comedian from Milton Berle, Soupy Sales and Tommy Chong to Dave Chappelle, Jamie Foxx and Chris Rock. He has also shared the stage with such music acts as Michael Bolton, Chubby Checker, Frankie Valli, Styx and Martina McBride. The numerous companies he has entertained include IBM, Aetna, First Union Bank, The United Way, Hardee's, Rose's Department Stores and Met Life.
John was a semi-finalist in the HBO Aspen Comedy Festival and appeared on CBS-TV's "Central Park West." He was also a finalist and voted audience favorite in the Clean Comedy Challenge and was runner up in the Clean Guys of Comedy Unbeepable Contest. The author of the book "I'm the South", John has appeared in scores of comedy clubs in over 40 states and is a regular performer for Carnival Cruise Lines where his ship received the highest comedy rating in their fleet in both 2007 and 2009.
