Brian Fisher
Brian Fisher is the host and executive producer of the award winning television show, Fisher's ATV World, which aired nationally on Outdoor Channel for over twelve years and later moved to larger networks such as Discovery's Velocity, Destination America and NBC Sports Network reaching millions more viewers! The show also aired around the world in many other countries and was translated in several different languages. Brian has made a name for himself in outdoor television with his fun personality and "keepin' it real" style.
Brian knows what it takes to be successful. His journey is one of true endurance, but yet relatable to many others on the dirt road towards success. He was not the child born with a silver spoon in his mouth, but rather a boy with a burning desire to be successful and a "do whatever it takes" attitude.
Growing up in the small town of Dover, Pennsylvania, Brian graduated high school at the very bottom of his class in 1987. He was ranked 236 out of 236 his senior year, and voted "most likely to fail" by many of his teachers and classmates. Brian's dream was to have his own business and be successful.
Not long after graduating high school, Brian married his wife, Melissa in 1992, and together had three wonderful children. Brian worked in the printing industry for twelve years and knows firsthand what hard work is all about. The journey to owning their own business was one of true triumph, complete with ups and downs and twists and turns with many failures but always with the tenacity to push on towards success. Several business ideas came and went throughout the years, however giving up was never an option.
Brian and his family shared a love for the outdoors and riding ATVs. This was their way of spending quality family time together. In 1998, Brian Fisher and his wife, Melissa, started a used ATV Dealership, Fisher's ATV World, in the small town of Dover, PA. Providing great customer service was the key to making their ATV dealership a true success. The first full year in business, their dealership brought in over one million dollars. This growth continued and allowed Brian to push his dream to the next level of wanting to host an outdoor television program focused on ATV adventures. With over 320 million Americans and one out of every nine homes that have a motorcycle, ATV or Side by Side, surely this would be a hit!
Brian had no television experience and really had no idea of what it would take to pull it all together. He just knew that hard work and perseverance always pays off and always believed in his heart that you can do anything you put your mind to if you don't give up. The ATV Dealership invested $250,000 into the television program to air on Outdoor Channel for the first year before sponsorships started rolling in. Brian made the sales calls himself to major companies to sell them on the idea of partnering with the television show. Brian taught himself when it came to sales and has earned a lot of respect within the industry. His knowledge of business varies from being the customer to working with customers at the dealership and later dealing with corporate clients and advertising agencies for the television show.
Brian has been face to face with many business challenges and adversities throughout his career and now, for the first time, he is ready to share his experiences and knowledge to help other entrepreneurs as they pursue their dreams/goals in business and life.
Brian and his television show, Fisher's ATV World, won several awards since the first airing in 2002. These awards include 64 Bronze Telly Awards and 7 Silver Telly Awards from 2004 to 2014. In 2011, Fisher's ATV World was honored with the Golden Moose Award for "Best Off-Road Series" on Outdoor Channel.
Brian Fisher has also served as the spokesperson for Progressive ATV Insurance. Other corporate partners include but are not limited to large corporate companies such as; Yamaha, Can-Am, Suzuki, Honda, Warn Industries, Carlisle Tire/ ITP, Keystone RV, Tucker Rocky Distribution/Quadboss, etc. Brian is an acclaimed pro rider and has been featured in many national articles including but not limited to: ATVA, Dirt Wheels Magazine, 4 Wheel ATV Action Magazine, ATV Rider Magazine, etc.
As of January 2015, Brian's adventures for the show have taken him to 39 of our states and four different countries. He has also hosted quite a few well known celebrities as guests on the show. Viewers enjoy Brian's sense of humor and "keepin' it real" style. He quickly became the guy that everyone wanted to go riding with on the weekends.
In 2010, Brian Fisher rolled out the Fisher's ATV World "Keepin' It Real" Tour, complete with a tour bus and traveled to promote trail riding parks, events and trails around the country for the next several years. He also started a fan club, Fisher's Mud Club and stepped into selling his own line of products to the off-road industry. Brian and his team at Fisher's ATV World put on their very own "off-road" event, Fisher's ATV Reunion, from 2008 to 2013, bringing together approximately 5,000 attendees each year.
Brian Fisher has no plans of letting off the throttle yet. If you're ready to make a decision to do whatever it takes, Brian's story will encourage and inspire you to move forward. His lessons in life are hands on – the real deal! He knows challenge and adversity because he has been there, done that! Whether you're looking for some helpful information from a business perspective or something a little more personal, Brian will give you some things to think about that could change your life forever!
