Prior to founding Business-Accelerated, Harris has served as an IT Management Consultant for HP. Americas in the U.S. and Canada, bringing over fifteen years experience with Windows Exchange Messaging. With a core competency in messaging platform migration and integration, she defined the automation of migration processes that led to the creation of the Exchange Migration Tools for Quest Software.
Additionally, Harris led Exchange Legacy Migrations to Exchange 2003, including rolling upgrades to reduce time and cost for customers during statewide infrastructure conversions. Georgia-Pacific asked Harris to remain through a series of corporate acquisitions resulting in merged enterprise messaging platforms. For a Canadian energy company, she designed and structured a migration project to convert a 15 year proprietary messaging on the IBM Lotus Notes platform to Microsoft Unified Communication technology.
Prior to joining HP Americas, Harris was Director, Technical Planning in the Real Estate industry, Senior Consultant Exchange Projects in state government, Information Resource Manager in the forest products industry and Manager, Special Projects, LAN and Network Administrator in the food and beverage industry. She began her career as a production associate at NBC News before transitioning into a career in technology.
A native New Yorker, Harris earned her MBA in Executive Management from the Lubin School of Business. Her Master of Science in Telecommunications and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science were earned at the Ivan G. Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems. She holds a Master Certificate in Interactive Online Marketing from the University of San Francisco.
