BIOGRAPHY

Over the past 15 years, Jesse has developed a rich career in corporate strategy, business development and finance, working for multinational companies such as Dun & Bradstreet, General Motors and most recently as Corporate Strategy Officer for the Volkswagen Group of America's financing subsidiary, VW Credit, Inc. Jesse is an award-winning speaker, ranked as one of Toastmasters International's top humorist speakers in 2009 and 2010 and is a member of the National Speaker's Association. Passionate about personal economic empowerment, he focuses his message to college students and young professionals on how to achieve a successful transition into adulthood by delivering multi-cultural, comprehensive, and innovative programs that address social, academic, and career needs.

He has authored the book Dual Track: Graduating from College with Options and is currently writing his second book, ¡Rise Up, Mi Gente! A Roadmap for Latinos to Achieve Success in Corporate America.

Jesse has been quoted by the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and has been a featured guest on National Public Radio (NPR) Talk of the Nation for their "The Art and Science of Motivation" segment. He is recognized for delivering dynamic presentations that are motivational, inspirational, and humorous.

As an alumnus of Syracuse University (B.S. Communications) and Georgetown University (MBA), Jesse is proud to call himself an Orange-Hoya.

With his wife and daughter, Jesse considers Washington D.C. home and volunteers his time with the local chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and is a past Board Member of the Latin American Youth Center.
