Keynote Speaker and Learning & Development Architect

Before leaders trusted her with their toughest conversations about bias, trust, and culture, radio stations across the country trusted her voice with the closing numbers of the American Stock Exchange. I had the opportunity to participate in Lisa Jenkins' Women's Leadership class at work, and it was truly a powerful and timely experience. Lisa has a way of creating a space that feels both empowering and honest. She doesn't just talk about leadership in theory. She challenges you to look at how you show up, how you see yourself, and how willing you are to step into rooms before you feel ready, but what stood out most was her focus on visibility, confidence, and intentional growth. The conversations and exercises pushed me to think differently about my own career path, the value of my experience, and how important it is for women to stop minimizing the impact they already bring. I walked away not only inspired but grounded, with a clearer sense of how I want to communicate to continue developing as a leader and how I want to show up in the workplace. I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn from Lisa and would highly recommend her to any organization or group looking to invest meaningfully in women's leadership development.

Unconscious Bias Training: I think we can agree that 2020 was a difficult year for us all professionally, personally, and socially as a country. Left in the aftermath of civil unrest that hit another pinnacle last year, our organization felt compelled to address it for the sake of our clients, our staff, and our own hearts. Internally, we created a committee that brought our employees together to discuss and educate ourselves on how systematic racism plays a part in our lives and how we can do better. That being said, it was a new venture, and like many companies, we had questions and concerns about the best way to proceed in the most impactful and appropriate way. We took the opportunity at an all-staff meeting to find a speaker and bring in a professional to continue the conversation and give us better insight into this important line of work—and that is when we found Dr. Lisa D. Jenkins. From the moment we virtually met with Dr. Jenkins, we were inspired and motivated by her warmth. Administratively, she was a dream to work with, even though we gave her very short notice on our meeting date. Professionally, she eased our worries, gave us ideas and direction to work with, and came up with a fantastic proposal that mirrored every concern and request we asked and envisioned. And finally, as a speaker, she was dynamic, engaging, and more than generous with her time, effort, and content. Dr. Lisa Jenkins impressed us professionally and personally throughout the entire process, to the extent that we see our relationship as a partnership and can't wait to welcome her back to our organization for additional training and development for our staff. She received only positive feedback from our employees and was able to translate her passion flawlessly on a virtual platform. We are happy and proud to give her a raving review and the best possible recommendation possible. Thank you Dr. Lisa—we look forward to connecting again with you soon!
