Clarence Caldwell
B.S., MBA, CHPC, DBC
CA, USClarence's career as a high-ranking executive has earned him national recognition. He has been at the forefront of technology changes, new service deployments and customer satisfaction efforts that have led to incredible organizational successes.
Clarence started his technical career repairing autopilots (AFCS) for B737 and B747 aircraft. Companies that have benefited from Clarence's leadership include Sperry Rand, TCI, AT&T, Cox, Time Warner and US West.
Rising from homelessness and poverty to become a Senior Executive within Fortune 500 and 100 Companies, Clarence now coaches other leaders to create successful businesses, careers and lives.
After waking up homeless in the backseat of a car some years ago, Clarence learned what it takes to be successful in life and has applied these principles to his own business and career. Ironically some years later while sitting in the boardroom of a Fortune 100 company Clarence experienced another 'backseat' moment. An inner calling to help others realize their true potential was a voice too loud to be ignored.
Starting a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization to help inner city kids discover the personal power they possess within, proved very fulfilling. Watching young boys and girls just like him struggle with little hope of achieving greatness, Clarence has helped transform countless young people into thriving successful men and women.
Working with leaders and organizations ranging from Urban Leagues to Juvenile Hall Centers, mentoring at-risk youth remains one of Clarence's passions.
Colleagues and business owners continue to seek Clarence's guidance and support for their career success. In 2014 Clarence met this need formally, and created True Life Enterprises, LLC. True Life combines the principles of being Your Best You with the strategies and tactics of being the Ultimate Leader. Clarence now speaks, holds workshops, coaches, writes and hosts his own Podcast with the goal of reaching, guiding and supporting as many people as possible.
