As a 3rd Dan in karate, she learned about failure, perseverance and achieving success through bruises and bloody noses.  You cannot get a black belt overnight.  Success is not always about goals and positive thinking, but about doing the right things every day, deliberate practice and the right habits.  She applied her process when she studied her MBA (Masters In Business Administratation) and completed it with distinction (Cum Laude).
