Betsy Chapin Taylor inspires participants with her high-energy, deeply authentic, research-driven and actionable presentations on advancing health.

Betsy has spent 30 years serving health organizations including academic, community and children's hospitals.  Betsy also brings the unique perspective of being a patient and patient family member; she is a breast cancer survivor with a rare genetic mutation who has also supported her husband, father and brother on their own cancer journeys.  

Betsy's presentations are not only rich in storytelling to bring a heartbeat to conversations about heath and health care but also are anchored with robust data and evidence to frame current realities and future opportunities.  She agilely addresses topics from the current and future state of health care to new imperatives such as elevating community health and access.  She also brings a deep understanding of the unique power of community investment through philanthropy, grants and partnership to advance health and to address drivers of health.  Betsy is recognized for her progressive work in health care governance and in reshaping the health care board.  Finally, Betsy has been an avid student of the power of gratitude, compassion and similar values in not only strengthening clinician well-being but also in improving patient experience.

Betsy holds an MBA from the University of Georgia and an MS of Journalism from Columbia University in New York.
