Sylvia spent the first 13 years of her career in a psychotherapist's office. No, not on the couch (although she's done plenty of that) but running a successful practice counseling employees of Fortune 500 companies. Companies such as Sprint, Caterpillar, and McDonnell Douglas hired her to provdie therapy services to their employees as a health benefit.
As she listened to hundreds of people in all levels of corporate America, she came to understand the problems that weigh heavily on individuals. She developed strategies to help reduce their stress and show up as the best version of
themselves, both at home and in the workplace.
Wanting a bit of a shake up in her own life, Sylvia later made a career change and plunged into sales. Reipient of the Hall of Fame award for sales volume, receiving five star ratings every year for excellence in negotiating and customer satisfaction, she earned the ranks of the top 1% in the business.
Today, Sylvia runs a professional speaking company, creating and delivering programs by combining her psychology expertise and business savvy with a generous dose of humor. She keeps her audiences engaged and gives them a straight forward action plan they'll actually implement and get results.
