Co Founder: Blue Chip Athletic

Entrepreneurs at heart, Gonz Medina and Jason Heslop started Blue Chip Athletic in 2001 with no marketing budget, no website and no customers. But they did have a screenprinting machine, a business plan, and a passion for providing affordable, quality apparel to the Missouri high school wrestling teams they coached.

That passion grew into a small business producing millions of custom and officially-licensed NCAA Wrestling garments sold online. With the growth of their business, Blue Chip faced the challenges that come with tackling and streamlining operations, never finding enough hours in the day to keep up with it all. Applying the same methodologies while working for Fortune 500 Telecom and Healthcare companies, Andy Michaels joined forces with Blue Chip as the VP of Marketing and Metrics.

Utilizing industry best practices in conjunction with Infusionsoft, Gonz and Andy have dramatically grown their contact list, consistently shattered sales records and reduced their weekly working hours from 70 to 45. Best of all, they were able to focus on making each customer so happy with their order that they would be sure to come back, and tell a friend or two about their experience.
